MONTH
MONTH(date)
The month of a date as a number from 1 (January) to 12 (December), such as the month a task finishes in. It is only the month, so tasks in March of two different years both give 3: compare the year too, or use TEXT with "yyyy-mm".

Examples
Formula=MONTH([Finish date])
The month the task finishes in, 1 to 12.
Formula=YEAR([Finish date]) = YEAR(DATADATE()) AND MONTH([Finish date]) = MONTH(DATADATE())
TRUE for tasks that finish in the same month as the data date.
Formula=MONTH([Start date]) = 12 OR MONTH([Start date]) <= 2
TRUE for tasks starting in December, January or February, for a winter-work check.
